Challenge

Vittoria entered a competitive confectionery market where Sri Lankan chocolates were still carving their identity on the global stage. The challenge was to create a brand that not only stood out locally but could also compete with established international names.

The identity had to feel premium and export-ready while staying true to its Sri Lankan roots. Beyond that, the packaging system needed to be adaptable across multiple flavors and product lines maintaining a consistent sense of luxury, craftsmanship, and storytelling, no matter the variation.

Approach

We developed a distinctive wordmark that became the centerpiece of the brand’s visual identity, embodying sophistication and confidence. To celebrate its Sri Lankan origin, we introduced a subtle design motif inspired by local craftsmanship, placed prominently on the front panel to anchor the brand’s heritage in a modern, elegant way.

A flexible packaging system was then created, allowing the brand to effortlessly expand its product portfolio through color variations while maintaining a cohesive visual language across all flavors. In addition to the brand and packaging design, we also collaborated closely with the client to design a unique square-shaped chocolate bar, a bold and refreshing concept in the Sri Lankan market, adding another layer of originality to Vitoria’s brand experience.
